The name of the restaurant, "GAMIN" (French for "Little Rascal"), finds its origin in the nickname given to Chef Kinoshita while he was in training in France. His skills are based on his experience at the three star restaurants, and his borderless ideas of creativeness is accepted as a playful soul cooking. This is a restaurant where an iron-plate grill built into the main counter forms the centerpiece amid an atmosphere that has the feel of a live performance. Chef Kinoshita has been covered by various media, and is particularly popular among culinary connoisseurs.

Mr. Kinoshita has skilled up his culinary skills at renowned restaurants in France, and produces exquisite French dishes from wide range of ingredients with his own creativity reflected. He effectively uses the fresh ingredients and adds original twist in his cooking method from the classical style which appleas to the five senses. This is why Kinoshita is known as "the prankster," just like the name of his restaurant.
