A Japanese restaurant where you can taste the sprit of hospitality and seasonal ingredients in Kyoto

Located in a area famous for Kyoto cuisine, 'Gion Yajima' is behind the alley of Gion. It is a few minutes on foot from Gion Shijo Station, and also near from Yasaka Shrine. Feeling your heart beating on the way to the restaurant, with a distinctive atmosphere that you can experience only in Kyoto . Recommended course served by the chef, who has been trained at a famous Kyoto restaurant "Atomura". The chef selects and combines the seasonal ingredients carefully. The unique menu "Stewed dish with Kujyo-futonegi" and "Miso pickles" are recommended.

A curtain is hanging outside. After entering, the counter seat(horigotatsu-type) on the first floor and on the second floor, a private room is there. The hospitality of the Owner and the landlady makes you feel relax and comfortable. Everything is wonderful there. It is a space suitable for dates, families and dinners between colleges. It is also possible to prepare children's menu, please feel free to ask them in advance!
