A world gourmet guide award, elegant time, with the essence of French cuisine combined together with modern cooking

"Restuarant FEU," a French restaurant in Nogizaka, Tokyo. Opened in 1980, when French cuisine was mainly available in hotels, the concept was "a restaurant that feels closer, that one can enjoy easily". While continuing to produce the French cooking of the current time, this well established and celebrated restaurant has produced many famous chefs, and has continuously received stars from restaurant guides.

Now, in spring 2018, Shinichi Miyauchi joins as the 8th generation of the chef. Mr. Miyauchi worked together with our previous chef for 5 years, and after this traveled to France. After studying hard at a number of restaurants such as "Albert 1er", he worked as the chef at "Les Toquées" in Lille, northern France. After this, returning to Japan after 10 years, he arrives in his new position as the chef.
During his training period in France, rather than urban areas, he would visit the mountains, and here he felt how wonderful the herbs and vegetables were. Incorporating a contemporary essence within the classical taste, he presents dishes that are expressive. Together with approximately 600 French wines, the new style of this French restaurant with history is something that should be experienced.
The French flag that can be seen immediately after ascending from Nogizaka station is the landmark. In the center of the dining room, a seasonal flowering plant is arranged in a large vase, warming the hearts of guests. At lunchtime, the sun's rays enter through a large glass window, and at dinner, a meal can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment. The fact that there are visitors who have been fans since the restaurant's opening, and there are two generational guests who come with their children, tells the story that this space and this food is always the best of its time.
Furthermore, if requested ahead of time, there is also a vegetarian menu. As English and French service is available, it is an ideal venue to entertain overseas guests.

    娘と二人で初めて伺わせて頂きました。 久々に奇をてらわず、それでいておしゃれで何とも優しいシェフの自信とお人柄が伺える素晴らしいお料理を頂戴しました。 ランチですから最近流行りの無駄に多いアミューズとデセールがないのも良かったです。 何一つ手を抜かず基本的なソースもシェフのアレンジでとても新鮮で且つ繊細なお料理に仕上がっていて感激致しました。 帰り道に娘と、私たちこんなアットホームで素敵なフレンチが食べたかったんだねと。二人で勝手に来月のメニューに想いを馳せながら帰りました。 来月も主人や友人も誘って必ず伺います。
