A refreshing Japanese restaurant evolving while respecting the tradition of Japan

Kaiseki Marukawa, located at Okusawa, right between Jiyugaoka and Denen-chofu. Utilizing Japan's seasonal ingredients, presenting creative Japanese cuisine while following the traditions of it.

Owner chef Kumehara preparing Kaiseki cuisine with the philosophy inherited from his master, "Heart, Balance and Taste". "Showing the orthodox four seasons of Japan, while surprising guests with his cuisine that full of heart". Specialty is its soup. Made with "dashi", a Japanese stock simmered with Kombu and Katsuobushi for 3 days. Served along the food is sake chosen by the sake sommelier madam from all around Japan. A restaurant run by this couple, guests are able to taste the uniqueness of the day.

Marukawa has a counter made with granite, premium seat to talk with chef while enjoying the food, suitable for dating or casual dining. And 2 private rooms (table sunk into the floor / Japanese tea room), reserved by only one group per day respectively, perfect for family dining or with your important one.
