Founded in the US in 2004, Wolfgang’s quickly attracted a strong following before expanding rapidly. Today, his restaurants can be found in the United States, China, and Singapore, with the Roppongi restaurant the first of its kind in Japan, and the first branch outside the US. Wolfgang Zwiener, the restaurant’s founder, originally worked at a prestigious New York steakhouse for over 40 years as a server, using this experience of putting guests first to enhance the experience at his eponymous restaurants.
Zweiner's main focus is on the quality of the meat and the customer experience. Meat is dry-aged for 28 days in a custom humidity controlled warehouse, before being imported by air each week. Only Prime Grade USDA beef is served at the restaurant, which is ranked highest 3% of its kind and some of the finest in the world. With dry-aging and maturation enhancing the meat’s flavor, it’s then cut into luxuriously thick slices before being cooked on a grill at a temperature of 900°C. The surface of each steak is fragrant and crisp, with the meat retaining its moisture inside.
The signature T-bone steak an opportunity to enjoy both the sirloin and fillet cuts at the same time, as well as classic accompaniments like mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Over 1,000 bottles of wine from across the world are offered to guests to pair with their meal.
Inside the spacious dining room, 140 tables, 18 counter seats and two 10-person private dining rooms are available for guests. Dark wood panelling and ambient lighting creating a noble, luxurious atmosphere -- the perfect environment to enjoy fine steaks. Ideal for celebrations, family get-togethers, dates, and entertaining.
