Modern and unique Japanese restaurant with renovated Machiya(traditional wooden house) in Kyoto

Located along Sakai-cho avenue, a 7-minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma station in Kyoto, a sophisticated fine space refurbished modernly. With the spirit "To make every guest dining comfortably and relaxing", becoming a shop loved by the community, it was named "Kyokabutoya". A restaurant following the rule of tradition of Japanese cuisine while featuring it creatively.
Surprised by the contrast of the stylish wooden-counter that extends to the garden, which is proud of "Kyokabutoya". Take off your shoes then few steps up, the horigotatsu-sytle counter seat is there, which you could see the kitchen. Furthermore, a floor heating is prepared in winter. Private room could be reserved for maximum 10 persons, served in English. Enjoy the meal here with friends, during your trip in Kyoto or as a business meal.
The special dish "Butakakuni(boiled cube pork)", which is cooked with Kagoshima-made potato shochu, the juicy pork cube softly melts in the mouth. If you eat the rice cooked by an earthenware pot, with a miso-soup, you will be able to meet the finest cuisine you could taste only in Kyoto, Japan.
