A 1-star restaurant in Kyoto that combines innovation and sensibility

A couple was led and settled at a house in the south of the Imperial Palace, where the Japanese Maple, the restaurant symbol, welcomes you.

According to the chef, the challenge is bringing out the best of nature of the 4 changing seasons through seasonal ingredients. Every dish born out of these fresh ingredients are seemingly very simple. The balanced flavors and taste easily flow through the body, while allowing you to enjoy the dish with your eyes as well. The wines that are chosen to pair with these flexible, non-genre conforming dishes are also varied.

Many guests are surprised at the amount of time that has passed by the end of their meal. Despite that, many want to stay and relax just a little bit more.

※ Awarded 1 star on world-renowned gourmet guide Kyoto-Osaka 2020.
