A young chef who specializes in game dishes, showing his deep respect for nature and tradition of French cuisine.

Takuto Murota, who worked as a chef at "deco" in Shibuya, waited patiently until he was ready to become an owner chef in his own right, opening his very own restaurant in August 2016. The restaurant features an original name chosen by Chef Murota, LATURE (meaning "natural water drop"). His concept, "The ingredients that we eat are all blessings from nature, miracles of the earth,", is expressed through his French cuisine which with deep respect and gratitude toward nature. The fervent wish of Chef Murota to provide the best in Japanese hospitality to his guests is also included. Compared to the previous restaurant he worked, LATURE is on the other side of Shibuya Station, a quiet place situated underground, close to Aoyama Gakuin University near Omotesando Station.The restaurant serves seasonal specialty courses based on classic French cuisine that is highly respectful to tradition.

Chef Murota's specialty, since his "deco" days, is the preparation of game dishes featuring seasonal ingredients from fall to winter. The game is hunted and brought in by Chef Murota himself, who has a hunting license, allowing him to prepare the most sublime traditional French dishes. His dishes are deeply nourishing and full of love, making a strong impression on the hearts of the guests.

The restaurant provides a casual and relaxed atmosphere, making sure not to appear too formal and stilted. It offers table seats, semi-private rooms, and a chef's table counter in front of the open kitchen, from where guests can see and experience Chef Murota's great sense of presence as he carefully prepares his blessings from nature. This is a perfect venue for a casual date or dinner among foodies, where guests can enjoy traditional French cuisine and experience the true essence of LATURE.

    素晴らしい時間でした。お料理の一皿一皿に、「拘りと思いやり」を感じました。1、2、3月と、毎月家族の誰かのお誕生日でしたが、皆、多忙でゆっくりお祝いする事ができずにおり、この24日、結婚記念日に全てのお祝いをしよう!と予約致しました。「拘りと思いやり」は、我が家のモットーでもあり、素晴らしいお店に出会えたことに感謝致しております。運ばれるお皿毎に幸せが膨らんでいきました。スタッフの方とのお喋りも楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。
