Beyond world gourmet guide awarded French restaurants- pleasant, attractive French・Nordic Cuisine

In December 2016, a long-awaited restaurant opened in Nishiazabu, Tokyo. ""Crony"", produced by Mr. Ozawa, had been the manager of world gourmet guide award restaurant ""Quintessence"" for several years. Based on French cuisine, develops a new style of dishes with the space and service combines Scandinavia and North America elements.

Mr. Haruta, a chef always being brimful of ideas, had experienced at ''Quintessence'', ''Ledoyen(awarded restaurant in Paris)"", ""Saison'(awarded restaurant in San Francisco)"", ""MAAEMO(awarded restaurant in Norway"" and ""KADEAU(awarded restaurant in Denmark)"". He has served as a chef ""TIRPSE"" as well, a restaurant won the world gourmet guide award with the shortest time in the world. The dishes created by Mr. Haruta are skillfully crossed with French × Nordic and the sense of the West Coast of the USA. He makes a sharp distinction with the rest modern French in Tokyo.

The course is limited to advance reservation and only one of the 18 dishes of omakase. Start with the Nordic style snacks served in a sequence, the tiny finger foods are arranged with unique, interesting elements and ''Umami(attractive taste)'', also combined with the idea of Japanese Chef Haruta. In addition, ""Bread"" also plays a main role at ""Crony"", as a significant part between dishes. The specialty of San Francisco, ''Sourdough''-crispy and chewy, with a thin refined sourness; A dish you could exactly taste the amazing balance. The contents of the course changes almost every 2 months, ""Crony"" legend is so interesting that makes you willing to oversee the process of its fine evolution upon the changing of seasons.

""Crony"", with a meaning of ""a close, lasting friend"" , it exists as a friend you could easily talk to. The dining place with an open kitchen place at back, a private room, a table seat and counter are accommodated. Elegant, warm interior is produced by order-made Northern European furniture, wall-paper and lighting. Suitable for a date, a casual dinner or a business dining. English service is available so that the foreign guests could dine here with ease.
