A Nishi-Azabu hideaway where you can enjoy “French food” with chopsticks.

The city of Nishi-Azabu itself is like a “hideaway for adults”. And in the center, about a 3-minute walk from the Nishi-Azabu intersection, there is a restaurant that embodies the image of that city. “French GOHAN Nishiazabu GINA” opened in 2015 as a hideaway in Nishi-Azabu where guests can enjoy French food prepared with seasonal Japanese ingredients and soup stock using French techniques.

In the early evenings (18:00~21:00), you can experience a French course meal which reflects the season, and in the late evenings (21:00~), they offer an “adult’s choice a la carte” which you can enjoy individual dishes that the chef whips up to match your mood. The chef is particular about using ingredients such as Choshu Wagyu from Hagi in Yamaguchi Prefecture, as well as vegetables from France and Italy. GINA is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a relaxing night in Nishi-Azabu.

After building up skills of French and Italian cuisine at restaurants in Tokyo and “MiraCosta”, Disneyland’s official hotel, chef Takashi Suemune opened GINA in 2015. His sensitivity to the comfort of guests was honed in “MiraCosta”, where hospitality is very important. The restaurant may seem slightly intimidating from the outside, but the entire staffs, beginning with the chef himself, create a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.

You can enjoy a conversation with the chef at the White Quartz counter seat, relax at the table seats, or lose yourself in the private rooms with an impressive fireplace while sitting at the table made of magnificent African Cherry. It is encouraging to have a restaurant that you can go to and relax in even in the middle of the night.
