Peter, a steak and grill restaurant located on the top floor of The Peninsula Tokyo in Hibiya, is as loved for the incredible views offered as it is for the exceptional dishes on the menu. After taking an elevator 24-floors up, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view which overlooks Hibiya Park and The Imperial Palace Garden. Once dusk begins to set in, the purple-based lighting enriches the experience and enhance the modern dining atmosphere.

While the views may be stunning, Peter leaves no stone unturned in ensuring that the quality of meal is even more so by selecting only the finest quality ingredients for each dish. Locally-produced beef from all across Japan is carefully sourced including Kobe beef, Hida beef, and Okayama’s Chiya beef - all of which are grilled to absolute perfection. The Peter recommendation is for diners to begin by eating the steak simply with a salt and pepper so that the true flavor and quality of the beef can be appreciated. This is then followed by a specially-created French sauce from Masateru Kiriyama, Peter's Chef de cuisine, who specializes in French cuisine, to give the beef a different flavor.

Peter offers various à la carte and course menus for both lunch and dinner, along with a brunch option on Sundays, meaning a widerange of dining needs can be catered for. Peter’s wine list contains a collection of wines from various countries selected for steak pairings, including an original The Peninsula Champagne Deutz Brut. Following the meal, guests can sit back and enjoy a drink at Peter : The Bar, located adjacent to the restaurant.
