A casual style that adheres to a culinary ethos of precision.
Joël Robuchon, a master of French cuisine and the youngest chef to have earned the world’s most prestigious Michelin three-star rating, has since gained acclaim not only as a chef but as a restaurant producer. La Table de Joël Robuchon is located in the beautiful chateau-style building in Yebisu Garden Place that has become an enduring and beloved symbol and cornerstone of the Joël Robuchon brand in Japan.
La TABLE de Joël Robuchon, on this exquisite building’s first floor, and Joël Robuchon Restaurant, on the second and third floors, are two different establishments. While Joël Robuchon Restaurant occupies a position at the pinnacle of the Joël Robuchon brand, La TABLE de Joël Robuchon is positioned as a more casual restaurant in which customers can enjoy Robuchon’s cooking more informally.
The menu offers both set courses and à la carte dishes, as well as prix fixe menu with selections of appetizers and main dishes available. It is also possible to order “L’Oursin,” a Robuchon specialty made of sea urchin in a lobster jelly, topped with a smooth fennel cream, à la carte and enjoy it with your favorite wine. While being informal, the food at La TABLE de Joël Robuchon is exquisite and refined, prepared with a simplicity and precision that embodies Robuchon’s philosophy of “stripping away all distractions and put the entire focus onto the dish."
The interior décor is centered around a lavender color scheme, from the floors to the walls and flower bowls, and an open terrace surrounded by flowers and greenery has been created beyond the dining room windows, making it the perfect restaurant to enjoy Robuchon’s worldview in effortless elegance.
