The course which combines ingredients delivered daily from Nagasaki is also popular. Nagasaki is the birth place of barley Shochu (liquor) and in addition to 6 different kinds of barley shochu, sake, wine and champagne are also available.

The seats are made of hinoki cypress, which is more than 200 years old. The counter seats 8 customers and there are 2 private rooms. There is one private room where customers take off their shoes so they are able to relax and eat. The hallways are fitted with tatami mats for comfort, while counter seats have a wooden floor. Some private rooms are fitted with carpet however some may not.

As we had a family dinner here, we enjoyed our time ! The food were great especially the beef and udon. As my brother is seafood allergic and he doesn’t like fish, but surprisingly he did enjoy the fish item. We had worry about the dinning environment will be too formal but actually the staffs are very friendly and helpful. We had a very satisfying night and it is a very good started for our trip in Japan. Hopping to come again at next trip.
