The Roppongi bistro "RRR" is known for its top-class Japanese Black Wagyu Beef, including Japan's world-famous Kobe Beef, and premium wine offered at reasonable prices. It is this restaurant that opened a new flagship location, "RRR Otemachi," in 2018. It is located in Otemachi PLACE, a commercial center in Otemachi, one of Japan's leading business districts.
With 10 years of experience with the Italian and French cuisine, mainly in the Tokyo area, head chef Tatsunori Kawada brings his skills to the kitchen. The dishes on offer are based around those featuring the full grilled goodness of Japanese Black Wagyu Beef. There are always at least six different meat dishes on the menu, such as the "wet aged" Kobe Beef Top Round Steak and the Bone-In Akagi Wagyu Beef Tomahawk Steak, grilled on the bone. In addition, the a la carte items, including appetizers and salads, feature generous amounts of farm-sourced organic vegetables and seasonal Japanese ingredients, used to create original dishes that venture outside the bounds of French cuisine. The menu of premium wine available to pair with the top-quality meats is also a list of masterpieces in itself. The large selection of famous names and vintages includes Taittinger Champagne and California's Kenzo Estate, with the best part being their reasonable prices.
The interior design is inspired by the concept of a Manhattan, New York steakhouse. Guests pass through the entrance and bar into a black-themed, stylish dining atmosphere. In the center of the restaurant is the open kitchen and the Wagyu beef cellar, and behind it is the dining area with table seating and a brick wine cave-style design, offering a sophisticated and classy atmosphere combining bustle and relaxation.
The venue seats a total of 70 guests, with seating for 44 in the open dining area in addition to a single room seating six and terrace seating as well. Offering pairings of Japanese Black Wagyu Beef and premium wine ideal for casually enjoying on a nice day, "RRR Otemachi" is perfect not only for business dining but also casual dining with the family, date night, anniversaries or just about any other scenario, promising guests a blissful experience.
