A six-minute walk from Sakae Station in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Setsugetsuka Tanakasatori is located on the top floor of a building in a busy neighborhood, close to downtown areas such as Sumiyoshi and Nishiki. The owner Satoru Tanaka bids the best meat for this yakiniku restaurant, that only serves the best Wagyu beef in Japan.

Owner Tanaka, who was born and raised in a family that run a butcher's shop, has had many opportunities to get in touch with meat since he was a child, and has been cutting meat since he was 10 with a kitchen. He opened his own yakiniku restaurant at the young age of 25. His unique menu and stylish store design attracted attention and he now has 18 stores in Tokyo, Nagoya, Gifu and Shiga. Setsugetsuka Tanakasatori opened in November, 2019. It is on the top floor of a building with many restaurants, and is popular as a high-grade yakiniku restaurant.

Setsugetsuka Tanakasatori uses only the innards and outside skirt of rare beef brand, such as Specialty Matsuzaka Beef and Excellent prize Kobe beef, which are auctioned off by owner Tanaka who knows meat well. As a yakiniku restaurant, they only serve the best ingredients in Japan. He has also selected gas roasters as the heat source from his experience of operating over 10 yakiniku restaurants over 25 years. The best yakiniku is served with famous French wine and hard-to-find California wine carefully selected by sommelier Takatoshi Saito. Based on the guest's preference, the restaurant would suggest the best marriage with the carefully selected yakiniku of Setsugetsuka Tanakasatori.

The interior was designed by Yasumichi Morita, a designer from "GLAMOROUS", who works on interior design in Japan and overseas. A stylish and dignified adult space with a base of marble and plain wood that exceeds the image of a yakiniku restaurant. There are only private rooms (4-8 people), which is luxurious. Although it is located on the top floor of the building, it has a completely private space that shuts out the outside view, and is recommended for private use such as family, friends, and dates.
