A hidden ristorante in Nakameguro where you can enjoy playful local cuisine and natural wine

A 7-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Nakameguro Station. If you go down to the basement inside of the complex store "The GARDEN", you will find a hidden restaurant, “ristorante scintilla”. Chef Yuichi Mukasa studied at Aoyama "Sabatini" and "DA Noi", and worked as chef at Omotesando “Felicita” for 4 and a half years. He then became the chef of “ristorante scintilla” since its opening in October 2019.

The Omakase Course is based on Italian local cuisine, while arranging it with chef Mukasa’s unique and gorgeous presentation, the combination of ingredients and the way of cooking are stick to "Italian cuisine". The ingredients used are vegetables and herbs from the producers in Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture, meat such as Akagi beef from Gunma Prefecture, etc. Chef Mukasa himself visits the producers and selects the ingredients from all over the country. In addition, he values playfulness. For example, he would serve "Duck Foie Gras Hamburger" after duck dishes, or shape broad bean gnocchi into a heart shape for women, adding a bit of fun. Their specialties include the appetizer ravioli "Tuna and Water Buffalo Ricotta Cheese "Mezzaluna"" and the pasta ravioli "Tortellini", presenting ravioli in different ways.

There are around 50 types of Italian natural wines as the main selection by owner Nagashima of the wine bar “HIBANA” in Araki-cho. There are 6 ~ 7 types available by glass. They also have various soft drinks like the homemade ginger ale with various spices and burnt sugar, Japanese green tea, kamaage bancha, oolong tea and non-alcoholic cocktails with seasonal fruits.

In the restaurant where the wine shop “HIBANA” is also located, the space effect is inspired by a line of thin smoke where sparks rise. The thought of "I would like to concentrate my five senses on the food" means that there is almost no visual information. There are carefully-selected dinnerware such as Arita-ware from Saga, "Richard Ginori" from Italy, and cutlery such as "Cutipol" from Portugal, France "Perceval", etc. The dining room has 4 counter seating, table seating and a private room. This restaurant is recommended for gatherings with colleagues, friends, dates, and families. English menu is also available, so please also use it as a place to entertain overseas guests.
