A steakhouse offering superb New York-style cuts and pristine views of Roppongi’s Keyakizaka Street

37 Steakhouse & Bar is located on the second floor of the Keyakizaka Terrace at the end of Roppongi Keyakizaka Street. It offers generous cuts of dry-aged beef, in the style of New York’s great steakhouses.

The restaurant is helmed by Chef Koji Mihara, who previously worked at 37 Steakhouse’s sister restaurants across a diverse array of cuisines, including Italian, and was chosen to lead the kitchen on the strength of his experience at those restaurants.

A classic dish at 37 Steakhouse & Bar is the restaurant’s 35-day home-aged Australian Black Angus Rib Steak. The beef is wrapped in cloth bandages that have to be changed each day, and aged in the restaurant's own aging box to enhance and deepen its flavor. Another popular dish at the steakhouse is Australian Wagyu Beef Porterhouse Steak, a combination of bone-in strip and sirloin, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is seasoned simply with salt and pepper to allow its natural flavor to shine. While waiting for the steak to cook, guests can also enjoy the steakhouse’s signature salad or locally farmed oysters. To enjoy with their steak, guests can choose from a selection of 120 wines by the bottle, with a list that leans towards Australia and Napa, California, as well as red, white, and sparkling wines by the glass.

The 68-seat dining room features large windows that add a sense of space and offer views of greenery, creating a pleasant contrast against the masculine, hardwood floor and handsome, wood-paneled interior. Outside the dining room, outdoor terrace seating is available for up to 20 guests, an attractive proposition for diners with its views of Roppongi Keyakizaka Street that burst with cherry blossoms in spring and glow with neon lights during the winter. In addition, there are spacious private rooms (with 4 to 24 seats) that can be reserved for business dinners or intimate meals with family, a partner, friends, or colleagues.
