Yakiniku Ushigoro selected Ginza, a mecca for gourmets, as one of their locations and opened a sleek Ginza Namiki Street branch on the seventh floor of a building at the corner of Miyuki and Namiki Streets, a two-minute walk from Ginza Station. Since it opened in November 2018, the restaurant has captivated the hearts of gourmets by featuring the highest A5-grade Japanese Kuroge Wagyu beef.
Yakiniku Ushigoro is committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and secure ingredients. The beef is carefully selected through close consultations with reliable partners to procure the absolute best of the highest A5-grade Japanese Kuroge Wagyu beef available. The meat is kept safe and carefully checked against Yakiniku Ushigoro’s strict hygiene standards. The beef is not sourced from specific brands but from a wider range of the best purveyors to offer an unparalleled selection of rare and prized cuts. The meat is grilled by customers on the table with help from staff (unless the cut requires special cooking techniques) allowing guests to enjoy meals at their own pace.
Along with beef tartar and uni (raw sea urchin), the most popular dish at the Ginza Namiki Street branch is tongueburg, a hamburg steak made from beef tongue (the root, middle, and tip) with a distinct, beefy flavor. Also popular is yangnyeom TKG, a bowl of rice topped with a blend of raw egg, beef tartare, Kuroge Wagyu beef simmered with ginger, raw sea urchin, and yangnyeom (seasoning sauce).
The wine list includes 9 whites and 25 reds as well as specially selected wines. Guests can also ask the sommelier to help wine pairings for different cuts of beef. The drinks menu also offers a wide selection of shochu spirits, fruit wines, and makkoli as well as 6 varieties of sake.
Boasting a dining room with soaring high ceilings and decked out in shades of red and black, Yakiniku Ushigoro Ginza Namiki Street branch is the most luxurious location among the Yakiniku Ushigoro family of restaurants, and a jewel in its crown. There is a private room available as well as a main dining room with seats for 88 guests, some partitioned and others by windows overlooking the vibrant cityscape of Ginza that offer a sense of space.
Guests are invited to enjoy carefully selected cuts of beef at Yakiniku Ushigoro Ginza Namiki Street for a variety of occasions such as intimate meals with a partner, business dinners with clients, and anniversaries.
