Yuichi Arai, is a talented sushi chef who trained at renowned restaurants, Ginza Kyubey and Sushisho in Yotsuya, for 10 and six years, respectively, before he opened his own restaurant, Sushi Arai, at the age of 33. His amazing Edomae sushi (Tokyo-style sushi) skills and hospitality give his restaurant exceptional popularity and a strong presence in Ginza filled with renowned sushi restaurants.
The chef of this famous sushi restaurant in Ginza selected Nagoya for his next sushi restaurant project. He entrusted the new restaurant to Chef Hiroyoshi Yokota, who offers sophisticated sushi to establish it as a new genre in the restaurant scene of Nagoya. The ingredients of sushi and delicacies are locally sourced from the rich waters of Ise and Mikawa bays and lavishly used to create unique flavors for the guests of Sushi Hanakuruma.

Sushi Hanakuruma only has eight counter seats in the luxury dining room with plain wood accents.
