Due ligne is a restaurant where you can casually enjoy food and wine. With the concept of being “a restaurant with the best-tasting food”, it offers dishes with seasonal ingredients and is not restricted by being categorized as French or Italian cuisine. “I want to welcome guests who love to eat and chat, and those who just want to relax with their food”, says Chef Keisuke Seno. He has built his experience at two one-Michelin-star French restaurants, Diritto, which relocated from Hatagaya, Tokyo to Kagurazaka, and other restaurants within and outside of Japan. The most popular meat dish is the Char-grilled Masuda Beef Kainomi (bottom flap) from Gunma prefecture. The chef – who is able to judge the quality of meat just by looking at it – travels locally to carefully select the ingredients, and offers the dishes in their best state. Glasses or bottles of wine which go with the meal are available in a reasonable price. Despite having only 13 counter seats, this restaurant will not make you feel as if you’re in a small space but creates a relaxing atmosphere that will make you forget about time.
