From Yoyogi Uehara, innovative restaurant "Gris" is here sending message to all over the world. "Course full of individuality of Chef", which rearrange every two months, and multilingual marriage of alcohol or non alcoholic pairing, are all favorite by our every guests.

Chef Mr. Shusaku Toba, who has a different color career, entered the cooking world at the age of 32 after working as an elementary school teacher. After 3 years at Hatagaya "DIRITTO" (now moved to Kagurazaka)), followed by 2 years of training at Asia's best reward restaurant and Michelin one star "Florilege", in the spring of 2016 "Chef of Gris" he took the place of Chef here.

Pocking out the potential of seasonal ingredients, centered on the first-class items of fish and shellfish, which are sent directly from fresh fish market “ichiyamaikesu”, and also the non-pesticide vegetables, through trusted only producer. In the course consisting of 9 dishes, five elements of tastes, salty, sweet, sour and bitter are firmly conscious. Enjoy here the gastronomy cook. with a story property and live feeling. Here we incorporate Japanese cuisine technology and ingredients, and attracts new world views with cooking methods in various countries, such as Europe and Asia also. This "border-less and genre-less" dish is what "Gris" is, which attracts events and collaboration from all over the world.

Manager Mr. Hiroyuki Toyama, who is also sommelier here, is an expert who makes marriage of various drinks to every single dish, according to the innovative cuisine produced by Chef Shusaku. Wine, sake, beer, cocktail, home-made juice, and more, connect with culinary cuisine with free thought. You can experience unbelievable synergistic effects of cooking and drinks here.
