The casual version of the sushi restaurant "Takumi Tatsuhiro".
On July 2017, "Takumi Tatsuhiro" opened another restaurant "Sushi Band", which is a 2-minute walk away. "Band" is equivalent to the number 8 in sushi restaurant terms. The owner of "Takumi Tatsuhiro", Mr. Tatsuhiro Nishi, named the restaurant "Band" because he likes the number 8 and this number is known as a good luck and great fortune. Iyama Norikazu, the chef of "Sushi Band", used to be the sous-chef in "Takumi Tatsuhiro". Iyama Norikazu has worked in a sushi restaurant in Tokyo for eight years and after he finished his training in "Takumi Tatsuhiro", he moved to "Sushi Band" as it opened. The ingredients and the vinegar rice are the same as "Takumi Tatsuhiro". The course includes sushi and the side dishes that are as outstanding as "Takumi Tatsuhiro" but in a slightly lower price. There are 12 to 13 carefully selected Japanese sake offered in the restaurant.
There are a 8-seat wooden counter and 4-seat table. This restaurant welcomes customers to come alone, hold any casual meeting, and is kid friendly with children above elementary school age. Customer is also welcomed to reserve the entire restaurant for 9 to 13 guest. Customers are welcomed to visit "Sushi Band" for various purpose in a relaxing atmosphere.
