“Sushi Hazuki”, a place made popular by their reasonably priced yet carefully selected top quality seafood, located in Shinmaruko, Tokyo, a short distance from the city center. “Whenever you make sushi with good quality seafood, the price goes up. I want customers to enjoy sushi casually without worrying about the cost,” says owner Michiaki Sato, who decided to set up shop in his hometown.
Sato trained at “Ginza Kyubei” in Ginza for 7 years, after which he improved his skills at “KATSUYA” in Los Angeles. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are brought in from Tsukiji every morning, where you can enjoy sushi and other foods that are comparable to those in the city center.
The restaurant is laid out with 8 counter seats and 1 table. Experienced training in America allows the owner to provide service in English. In addition, being only 20 minutes from Haneda Airport by taxi makes it easy for foreign guests to stop by. A popular item is the “Hazuki Mackerel Rod-shaped Sushi”, which many regular customers purchase, with many taking it home as a souvenir. Hazuki is available for various scenarios such as dinner with friends and casual meetings.
