A famous nouvelle chinois restaurant that has been loved for many years in sophisticated area, Akasaka.

Maison de YULONG stands quietly in the corner of a slightly uphill road just off the main street in Akasaka, a bustling place known as a sophisticated playground. Since opening in 1995, this famous Chinese cuisine restaurant has been representative of the nouvelle chinois movement and loved by its regulars. Head chef Junichi Abe built his skills at such restaurants as Shanghai Kinkou Hanten and Aussi Bonheur in Aoyama, becoming known as "the master of frying". After serving as head chef for 7 years since Maison de YULONG opened in 1995, he became independent and was invited back upon its renewal in 2008.

Dinner is available only in course menus, and all courses include Yulong's special braised shark fin, the restaurant's specialty. Shark's fin from Kesennuma in Miyagi prefecture is boiled in a soy sauce base, requiring precise heating techniques and tremendous effort. Despite its black appearance, this "black shark's fin" has an elegant flavor, drawing many regulars to the restaurant just to taste it. Dishes with Shanghai crab are recommended in the winter, and a popular dish is the steamed Shanghai crab. After a live Shanghai crab is steamed, it is served with its outer shell removed and garnished beautifully, allowing guests to experience winter without having to get their hands dirty.
Wine is highly recommended with Chinese cuisine, with over 300 varieties always in stock, including champagne, bordeaux, and wine from the Bourgogne region. The sommelier's choice of wine to pair with dishes that become richer in flavor from appetizer to the main dish is very popular.

There are 30 table seats and 3 private rooms, which many uses for business entertainment and special anniversaries. With free services like special plates for anniversaries, we would like for you to enjoy top quality services together with excellent cuisine.
