Daikanyama offers the taste of a famous French restaurant that attracts gourmets from all over the world.

””Paul Bocuse”” is a legendary grand maison in Lyon, France. ””Maison Paul Bocuse in Daikanyama, Tokyo””, is a rare restaurant in Japan that offers the authentic French cuisine that has long attracted gourmets from around the world. Opened in 2007, the restaurant is managed in Japan by Hiramatsu, a leader in the Japanese restaurant scene.

The chef is Toshishige Irisuna. He studied at restaurants in Tokyo and France, as well as at the Hiramatsu-affiliated Grand Maison, and became head chef at ””Maison Paul Bocuse”” in 2015. Originally a fan of Mr. Bocuse, he was trained by Gilles Lenarte, who is currently the executive chef at "Paul Bocuse" in Lyon, and faithfully reproduces his traditional flavors. Using French ingredients as the basis of his cuisine, he also incorporates some high-quality Japanese ingredients to create dishes that even guests who have been to "Paul Bocuse" would be satisfied with.

The menu also includes many of Paul Bocuse's specialties, such as "Truffle soup dedicated to V.G.E. at the Elysée Palace in 1975" and "Sea bass in pie with sauce cholon," allowing guests to enjoy the same famous dishes as in his home country. The restaurant offers a wide selection of wines directly imported from chateaus and domaines around France, selected to match the cuisine at Maison Paul Bocuse.

The restaurant is divided into dining, salon, bar, and other spaces, and is also equipped with private rooms for small groups. The restaurant is decorated with Venetian chandeliers and Tiffany stained glass throughout and has an Art Nouveau atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy fine cuisine.
