Les Copains de Dominique Bouchet is located on the basement level of the Ginza MS building, next to the Taimei-Elementary School in Ginza, Tokyo. The French giant, Chef Dominique Bouchet, who has world gourmet guide award restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, opened a bistro in 2016 where you can enjoy yourself in a casual setting.
With the theme of partage meaning to share, the restaurant creates a space where people can share delicious meals and have an enjoyable time, similar to that of a dining hall, yet retaining the authenticity of French cuisine. The restaurant was even chosen by a famous gourmet guide as an establishment that offers affordable and high-quality dishes.
While retaining the taste of the sauce, which is the heart of Dominique Bouchet cooking, the cuisine also incorporates nostalgic home dishes, such as the French traditional cuisine Kuel and Terrine, which the recipes were passed from the owner's mother. The restaurant also offers 4 types of drinks, including Dominique's beloved original champagne, high quality and reasonable wines, 4 kinds of white wine and 4 kinds of red wine, that are served throughout the day in glasses or carafes.
The wall of the restaurant is snuggly fitted with a little less than 30 seats, and is decorated with the same picture of Dominique Bouchet as the one in France, creating a chic atmosphere of a reminiscent of a Paris bistro. The open kitchen gives you an appetizing aroma and a lively atmosphere which helps lift the mood of the customers.
There are also 6 private rooms, which can be used for get-togethers with friends and family as well as for casual entertaining. It is a restaurant highly-recommended when you want to enjoy high-quality dishes in a calm setting.
