Ristorante Drammatico is a famous restaurant located 15 minutes from Shinjuku. Thanks to the support of the local residents, it has been based in the area of Ogikubo, on the Chuo Line, for over 20 years. In 2015, the restaurant moved to a residential area closer to the station to embark on a fresh start. As it is set slightly back from the main road, the restaurant offers a bright and comfortable dining space. The first floor is comprised primarily of counter seats, and the second floor offers a comfortable dining area with some private rooms.
Some guests are even known to have been regulars for 20 years. Its specialty is Seafood. The seafood prepared here is carefully selected by the chef who is known for his love of food markets. The seafood he selects is fresh enough to rival those used at sushi or traditional Japanese kaiseki restaurants. The dish most worthy of mention is the Handmade Pasta with Seasonal Seafood. With this dish, guests are sure to enjoy the greatest happiness, as they experience the perfect combination between Italian food and fresh seafood sourced from Tsukiji. And of course, the best pair for a dish like this is wine. The chef offers a personally-selected range of approximately 300 wines, with a focus on natural ingredients. On special occasions, the restaurant can also provide special surprises like the serving of a whole cake.
This restaurant is highly recommended for sharing a delicious meal with friends and family, or entertaining important business guests.
