At the midway point between Shirokanedai and Ebisu, this sushi shop is nestled in a leafy residential area where you feel the green of the nearby Institute for Nature Study. Inside, the space is small, but its quality elicits a relaxed feeling. The counter consists of a large board of cypress wood that creates a clean and luxurious atmosphere.
Enjoy the Edo-style sushi that summons the flavor of each of the four seasons with a parade of fresh in-season ingredients. Here, hot water is boiled in a "Nanbu" iron kettle that imparts its mellow flavor. Charcoal grilling brings out the richest flavor of the grilled dishes. Red and white vinegar are used separately in the sushi rice to season it perfectly. Pressed red snapper sushi is recommended for its completely unique flavor. This dish is also well-liked as a souvenir.
Although the shop has counter seats only, you would still feel relaxed because it offers generous space. The entire shop can be reserved for private parties. It is a perfect option for occasions such as business gathering and special anniversaries.
