Enjoy "classic and modern" French cuisine in the same course

The concept of this restaurant is "the contrast between classic and modern". Here guests can enjoy both the "classic" main dish and the "modern" main dish in one course. "Restaurant MAY" is a French restaurant located in Gotanda, 5-minute walk from Gotanda Station on the JR Yamanote Line, the Tokyu Ikegami Line, and the Toei Asakusa Line, or an 8-minute walk from JR Osaki Station. The configuration of the dishes allows guests to experience the "richness, flavor, and depth" of classic cuisine and the "innovation, aroma, and lightness" of modern cuisine, as well as "amazement, rediscovery, and the joy of eating".

Mr. Iwata, the owner and chef, learned his trade in a Michelin two star restaurant in Paris, and then worked at "Restaurant Monna Lisa", a Michelin one star French restaurant in Ebisu. Based on this experience, Mr. Iwata decided to combine elements of his idea of modern and contemporary cuisine with classic French cuisine to create colorful dishes created with Japanese ingredients. His specialty is "young pigeon breast cooked in a rock salt crust". Mr. Iwata's vast experience and exceptional technique create delicious dishes with a traditional feel.

This charming restaurant offers guests the opportunity to enjoy meals in various different situations, from group dining in the quiet dining area, to the monthly "Welcome Child Day", which allows guests to enjoy eating together as a family.
