Savor some old-fashioned Edo-style sushi, where each ingredient is painstakingly prepared. Enjoy a new level of fascination while you observe glimmering raw fish undergo a transformation at the hands of an artisan. This is what guests will experience at Sushi Karaku.
The calm and cozy interior of the shop features counter seating as well as three private rooms with horigotatsu-style seating (for 6 to 18 guests), and it has gained a reputation as a place to entertain guests at home and abroad. In addition, Chef Togawa, owner chef of Karaku and certified sommelier, is the first person in the world of sushi to deliver sushi and wine pairings. This is the only place where guests can enjoy pairings of wine and carefully-crafted sushi.
Instead of the usual approach of serving several side dishes followed by rolled sushi, side dishes and sushi are served together with wine and offered to guests. Here, guests can enjoy new discoveries in the harmony of the two worlds of sushi and wine.
