In July 2017, distinguished sushi restaurant Sushi ICHIKAWA moved from Setagaya district to the center of Tokyo city- Shirokane Takanawa.
The owner chef Katsumi Ichikawa has a 7-year experience of training at a well-known Kyoto cuisine restaurant 'Kikunoi' , later training at a sushi restaurant for 4 years, founding his own Sushi place in 2012.
Ichikawa has a keen interest in tuna so the chef creates special sushi rice to match it; thus his nigiri sushi basically consists of tuna. Performing with traditional Tokyo-style, you could taste the subtle gems of traditional Kyoto cuisine. The reticent chef prepares he sushi with small amount of rice that ladies could enjoy with ease.
Visit here to enjoy Sushi with the finest pairing drinks he recommends.
With the strength of will, the chef starts a new page in Shirokane Takanawa. The restaurant continues to progress, suitable for business dining or ladies gathering.
